MATCHA - RAPHAEL

Sale price$19.00

Deep umami, verdant green, silky smooth, this ultra premium ceremonial grade, organic matcha is a pure delight.

Hand harvested in spring in the Shizuoka regions of Japan and stone milled to ensure a creamy and smooth texture.

Vibrant, luminous, and life-giving, Ceremonial Grade Matcha “Raphael” is a tea inspired by the healing ministry of Saint Raphael the Archangel, whose name means “God heals.” Known in sacred tradition as a guide, protector, and healer, Raphael appears in the Book of Tobit bringing restoration and guidance to those in need. This matcha honors that spirit of renewal and well-being.

Ceremonial Grade Matcha “Raphael” is a luminous green tea powder crafted from the youngest, shade-grown leaves of Camellia sinensis. Stone-ground into a fine jade powder, this matcha produces a smooth, velvety cup with gentle sweetness, bright vegetal notes, and a creamy, lingering finish. Whisked into warm water, it forms a vibrant emerald infusion that is both invigorating and calming.

In the biblical tradition, Raphael is the companion and healer who guides and restores, bringing sight, health, and safe passage. In a similar spirit, matcha has long been treasured in Japanese tea culture not only for its flavor but also for its nourishing qualities.

Because the entire tea leaf is consumed in powdered form, matcha offers a rich concentration of natural compounds found in tea, including antioxidants, amino acids such as L-theanine, and gentle caffeine that supports focused energy. The result is a balanced vitality, alert yet calm, often described as a clear and steady sense of well-being.

Raphael Matcha invites a daily tonic of renewal: a cup that awakens the body, steadies the mind, and honors the quiet tradition of healing and guidance symbolized by the archangel Raphael.

Whisk, breathe, and receive the gift of a living green tea: restorative and full of life.
