HOPS

Sale price$12.00

A flower known for rest.

Hops (Humulus lupulus) are the delicate green cone-shaped flowers of a climbing vine that has been cultivated for centuries across Europe and North America. Best known for their role in brewing beer, hops also hold a long history in traditional herbalism for their calming and aromatic qualities.

When brewed as a tea, hops produce a golden infusion with a slightly bitter, earthy flavor and subtle notes of resin, meadow herbs, and green pine. The aroma is warm and grounding, often enjoyed in small amounts or blended with softer herbs to create balanced evening teas.

Traditionally, hops have been valued as a relaxing herb and are often included in nighttime blends to support rest and relaxation. Herbalists have long appreciated their gentle ability to help quiet the mind and encourage a sense of calm at the end of the day.

Harvested and prepared in small batches by Immaculata Herb Farm, our hops bring a piece of versatile old-world herbal tradition to your home apothecary.

Use in home brewing, as a tea, tincture, or even soap.
